The needs of those living in the Los Angeles area have changed dramatically over the years.  Where once a small 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home with a 1 car garage was perfectly suitable, now those homes aren’t meeting the needs of today’s residents.

At Jannone Development we have taken a selective approach to residential development.  We carefully identify the neighborhood, the street, and the subject property to ensure that a new re-imagined property will not only make a profitable endeavor but also add value to the neighborhood as it continues to change.  Our approach is to create designs that pay respectful homage to the past architecture while pushing the vision of where the neighborhood is going for the next 10,20 and even 30+ years.  

While some custom home builders find a certain “plan” will work across different neighborhoods, we have found that each city within Los Angeles has its own personality, and that means that the same home can’t be built in Mar Vista that is built within Malibu.   Each project by Jannone Development will create a new and larger floor plan; however, that increased square footage can take many different shapes depending on the location of the property.  For some homes, that means an expansive single-level open floor plan, while for others, that means an innovative two-story home that provides new space while capitalizing on the desire for indoor/outdoor living.

Colonial Ave. Mar Vista

Our Colonial Ave project in Mar Vista took a quaint home and expanded it into a nearly 1,800 sq ft property while still retaining outdoor space.

In a vibrant Venice neighborhood where redevelopment is on-going Jannone Development took once was a small bungalow and developed plans to build a 3,500 sq ft home where the new home owners will be able to enjoy a massive roof deck with BBQ area and a 1,000+ sq ft basement for an entertainment area or at home office.
